The group involves 22 trial candidates from the Komo Centre, Soft Power Education, Dona Centre – teens & tots and Kyaninga Child Development Centre. The application uses, “icon to speech” to enable the user to communicate. It also offers the care givers a means to monitor progress. The requirement called for an easy to use affordable app. The final product will be available in several languages allowing for global sales and can be used without an internet connection.
